The Turkish deep house producer showcases her other artistic passion.

In addition to her celebrated music, Crosstown Rebel Deniz Kurtel creates LED installations at venues around the world. Her interest in lighting began when Zev Eisenberg of Wolf + Lamb suggested they put something together for an upcoming trip to Burning Man. When things didn't quite pan out, Kurtel started experimenting at the label's famed Marcy Hotel. In between European dates marking the imminent release of her debut album, Music Watching Over Me, she was commissioned to bring her vision to a vintage shop in London called Lucy in Disguise. RA tagged along to document the process from start to finish.
